I graduated in 1980 from U.S. Grant High School in Oklahoma City. I attended Oklahoma City Community College for 2 years and then transferred to the University of Central Oklahoma where I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education in 1991.
I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education. I have certifications in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Middle School Science and Social Studies.
I have been teaching at Tuttle Public Schools for 21 years. I started teaching 3rd grade and taught it for 7 years. I then moved to Pre-K and have been teaching it for 14 years. I taught at the elementary building for 20 years and my 21st year was given the opportunity to work in the new Tuttle Early Childhood Center.
Tuttle is my only teaching experience. I knew I wanted to teach here after I was a substitute teacher for the district. It has been a true blessing in my life and can’t imagine teaching anywhere else.
